The 5th Annual Maplewood Sweet Tooth Tour is a self guided walking tour around nine local shops on a 1/4 mile walk in historic Maplewood Downtown district. This year the tour included Kakao Chocolate, Foundation Grounds, Vom Fass, La Cosecha Coffee Roasters, Great Harvest Bread Company, Traveling Tea, Strange Donuts, Pie Oh My! and Encore Baking Company. Each small business represents such a different facet of what it means to be sweet. The shops boasted their use of local ingredients and partnering with local companies found right in Maplewood, which went a long way to speak of their community and what can be found here. Almost all the shop owners or managers were there, and despite the crowds out on a spectacular day everyone was friendly and took time for meet and greets.
Warning: the word is out! Tickets sell out quickly so plan ahead for 2019!
