The 9th Annual Trivia Night supporting Nurses for Newborns occurred in the spacious gymnasium at the Villa Duchesne/Oak Hill School Gymnasium, Saturday, January 9, 2016, 5:45 PM. All proceeds from the event went to provide in-home nursing visits, which promote healthcare, education, and positive parenting skills to fragile infants and their families across the St. Louis region!

Nurses for Newborn’s mission offers a safety net for families most at risk; to help prevent infant mortality, child abuse and neglect through home based programs that provide education, healthcare and positive parenting skills. Nurses for Newborns Foundation, founded in 1991, became a 501(c)3 organization in 1992.

The organization comprises a nurse home-visiting agency. It has programs that serve teen moms, moms that have mental or physical challenges, sick infants, and general population families that have a need. Besides the medical component of the programs, it assists families in getting connected with any additional medical, social or government services they may need. It maintains a donation bank with clothes, toys, diapers, blankets, car seats, baby beds and formula for our families. The donations come from community baby showers, school groups, formula companies, churches and individuals.
