Webster University’s Annual Scholarship Dinner
Webster University’s Annual Scholarship Dinner, Thursday, April 3, 2014, illustrated the depth and talent of the current students attending the university. Being awarded a scholarship is considered a distinctive honor, and this dinner manifests a prominent way to acknowledge the accomplishments of these students and donors.
Guests heard from two grateful beneficiaries, Gabriel Bullard, BA ’07, Journalism, the E. Desmond Lee and Mary Ann Lee Endowed Scholarship, The DeWitt and Caroline Van Evera Foundation Scholarship, and Rachel Kaufer, International Human Rights, The Arthur M. Sandler Endowed Scholarship. Anthony (Tony) Thompson, MBA ’88, and Marianne E. Gleich, BA ’66, who both have established several scholarships, reinforced why their familys choose to give back to the university.
