On the evening of Saturday, April 26, 2014, the Frontenac Racquet Club played host to the Sixth Annual Fontenac Pro Doubles Classic. Featuring a round robin tournament of the area’s top tennis professionals, the play was action-packed.
Spectators who attended had the opportunity to win raffle prizes, bid on auction items, have a boxed dinner or a drink at the bar. The net proceeds benefited the Mateo Dalla Fontana Scholarship Fund, supporting the development of up-and-coming junior tennis players in the St. Louis area.
Jordan Snyder and Peter Hantack (both from Frontenac Racquet Club) won the finals against Kyle O’Leary and Dave Reinhart, 6-4. The winners purse amounted to $2000 each, and finalists were awarded $1000 per player..
