Support Dogs Inc. WInter Dance with Sh-Boom
Support Dogs, Inc.’s answer to the winter blues is dancing to the band Sh-Boom. The annual winter dance at the Kirkwood Community Center, Saturday, January 31, 2014, featured some classic rock and roll, attendance prizes, raffles, snacks, and beer to those over 21.
Reservations were held at the door under the guests’ last name. A first come, first serve event, the tables filled up quickly. Even though the holidays barely had passed, guests were suffering from “cabin fever” and ready to release their tensions. Outside food and beverage added to the party atmosphere. Net proceeds benefited Support Dogs, Inc.
Support Dogs, Inc. comprises a national not-for-profit organization that offers dignity, hope, and independence by providing highly skilled service dogs to individuals with disabilities and uniquely trained therapy teams to serve the community.
