A Fetching Affair presented by Support Dogs, Inc. was held on Saturday, February 18 at the Chase Park Plaza. The annual gala benefits the organization with funds going towards providing highly skilled service dogs to individuals with disabilities and uniquely trained therapy teams in the community, offering hope and independence to those who are served.

The evening began with astonishing demonstrations from the TOUCH team assistance dogs. While guests mingled they were invited to take a chance on a diamond pendant, participate in a wine pull and browse the selection of silent auction items while sipping on a Frisky Sour, the signature cocktail. Guest enjoyed a three course dinner complete with entertainment from performance artist, Tim Decker and a live auction that included items such as a Backyard BBQ bash and naming rights to two  litters of puppies . The evening concluded with a video presentation and Fund the Need.

The Gala’s honorary chairs, Lise and Dan Herren are long-time Support Dogs volunteers and supporters.

“We are thrilled to be supporters of the organization and to be the Honorary Chairs of “A Fetching Affair,” said Lise Herren. “It is almost indescribable to see what the dogs can do. Whether assisting someone with a disability or calming a child in the hospital, these dogs do so much good for our community!”
