St. Vincent Home for Children hosted the 24th Annual Kookin’ for Kids Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel Khorassan Room. Event chair Laura Slay and the entire 2015 Kookin’ for Kids Committee conjured up an evening of A Life Renewed, honoring the past, guarding the present, and empowering the future though scrumptious food, wine, fellowship, outstanding musical entertainment, fun celebrity servers, and incredible auction items.

Kookin’ for Kids featured 25 restaurants providing tastings of some of their signature dishes plus cocktail tastings, too! Each restaurant was paired with a local celebrity who helped serve guests. In addition, live and silent auctions, live entertainment, a raffle, and more occupied the guests.

Last year, Kookin’ for Kids raised over $100,000, and St. Vincent Home for Children aimed to generate even more to support vital funding to improve the lives of at-risk youth through its professional treatment programs.
