The St. Louis Public Library Foundation hosted A Novel Affair, a fundraising Gala to kick off the Library’s sesquicentennial anniversary, Saturday, November 22, 2014. Since 1865 the St. Louis Public Library has encouraged the continuing education of St. Louis’ citizens, providing programs and services for all no matter their age, gender, race or ethnicity.

250 guests attended the elegant, Italian Renaissance themed, black-tie dinner to celebrate the St. Louis Public Library’s 150 years of service to the St. Louis region. Isabelle Montupet and Ulrike Schlafly served as the gala co-chairs, bolstered by a who’s who committee of St. Louis business and philanthropic leaders.
