On Saturday April 16, 2016, St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness held it’s “Living Out Loud” gala in the beautiful William D. Purser Center at Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri.  The evening is the signature fundraising event of the year for SLOCA and brings out crowds dedicated to bring awareness and support survivors.

The event featured a gourmet sit-down dinner, a live and silent auction with fabulous one-of-a-kind items and experiences, and an inspiring program highlighting ovarian cancer survivors and committed volunteers.

Emcee for the evening was Sherry Farmer of onstl.com and Auctioneer for the evening was the returning Rob Weiman. The Teal Spirit Award was given to Dr. David Mutch for his dedication to continued research and leadership in the fight against ovarian cancer. This year’s Keynote Speaker was ovarian cancer survivor Kim Carney.

The St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness comprises a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization. It is committed to increasing ovarian cancer survivorship by promoting awareness of early warning signs and standards of care, funding ovarian cancer research, and supporting survivors.
