St. Louis Magazine hosted its annual Can’t-Miss Party of the Summer, a sensational street soiree in the Central West End, Thursday, July 10, 2014. Nearly 1300 guests attended the event, rubbing shoulders with a hip, fashionable crowd and dancing under the star-filled sky. Presented by Cadallic, partygoers toasted the city’s best food, drinks, music, and, of course, people.

All along Maryland Plaza, outdoors, guests could sample cuisine from 20 of the city’s A-List award-winning restaurants and sip cocktails or other libations from open bars compliments of Budweiser Select, Pearl Vodka and more. The featured A-List restaurants and caterers included Home Wine Kitchen, Vernon’s BBQ and Catering, Vito’s in the Valley, Cafe Eau Restaurant at The Chase, Cucina Pazzo, Juniper, The Wheelhouse Clayton and Downtown, Three Kings Public House, Russo’s Catering, The Caramel House, Nathalie’s, The Cup, Evangeline’s Bistro & Music House, Salume Beddu, Katie’s Pizza and Pasta Osteria, Strange Donuts, Jax Café, Lester’s Sports Bar & Grill, J Greene’s Pub, and Gringo.

Dancing in the street rarely gets any better. The Dirty Muggs kept the place rocking with a diverse selection of music. The VIP types could break away and mingle in the courtyard with St. Louis Rams players or dance to the sounds from DJ Nune. Scape provided special hors d’oeurves and beverages from the above sponsors along with Stella Artois, Simi Winery, and Mark West Winery.

The “sun never sets” on this evening but continues into the early morning hours, courtesy of an After Party at Mandarin Lounge. As St. Louis Magazine promotes, this night has “everything we love about St. Louis, all in one place”.

Saint Louis Magazine’s annual “A-List”, released in July, recognizes the best this city has to offer across a range of categories like Food, Culture, Night Life, Shopping and Service, Health and Fitness, Media and Sports, Amusements, Kids and Family, and Reader’s Choice. The common thread among these sections reflects the tie that binds us in the 250th anniversary of the city’s founding.
