St. Louis Area Foodbank’s Taste of the NFL

Hosted by the Taste of the NFL, St. Louis Rams, St. Louis Sports Commission, and the St. Louis Area Foodbank, Taste of the NFL has become a highly anticipated annual event. This years 11th annual Taste of the NFL extravaganza invited all attendees to sample specialty foods and drinks prepared by some of the best restaurants and clubs throughout the community.

Taste of the NFL took place Monday, November 4, 2013 at the St. Louis Area Foodbank. The guests collected autographs from Rams players, bid on unique and collectable items from the extensive silent auction tables, and met the chefs. St. Louis Rams general manager Les Snead introduced the fans to the entire team, giving the audience a positive outlook for the remainder of the season.

The following restaurants and clubs participated: Mike Shannon’s Steak & Seafood, LeCordon Bleu St. Louis, Aramark, The Cup, Missouri Athletic Club, Pastaria, Chandler Hill Vineyards, Tucanos Brazilian Grill, Trailhead Brewing Company, Pappy’s Smokehouse, Hwy 61 Roadhouse and Kitchen, Companion Bakery, Moulin, Iron Barley, The Block, Racquet Club-St. Louis, PM BBQ,  Anthonino’s Taverna, Barrie Lynn – The Cheese Impresario.

The St. Louis Area Foodbank began its service to the community in 1975. Today, it continues as an organization that relies on the generosity of others to make a difference in the lives of those in need of food assistance. It has evolved into the Bi-State region’s largest non-profit 501(c)(3) food distribution center, dedicated to feeding those in need.
