Three times a charm for the weather at this year’s annual St. Andrew’s Loving Hope Golf Outing, the Four Seasons Country Club, Chesterfield, Missouri, Monday, August 4, 2014! The morning realized cool temperatures and the afternoon much more pleasant  than previous years’. And again, a delicious lunch, silent auction, and  raffle supplemented the tournament.

The golf outing, silent auction, BBQ luncheon and reception raised funds for the Financial Assistance Program at Brooking Park, which provides charitable care to residents of the community who have outlived their resources. Golfers either could play at 9:00 AM or 1:15 PM with the BBQ lunch/silent auction as the bridge.

St. Andrew’s assists those, who through no fault of their own, no longer can afford to live in the place they call home. It is committed to continue caring for the family regardless of their ability to pay. The benevolence is appreciated so much by the residents, families, and staff of Brookings Park.

Everyone also had the opportunity to purchase a chance to win a fabulous golf getaway: A one week stay in a beautiful lakefront condo in October 2013, with 4 days of golf for four, each day at a different course! The package included all greens fees. The drawing transpired at the tournament, but the winner did not have to play or attend the event. Sue and Jerry Palmer had the lucky number but generously donated the pot back to St. Andrews. .
