The Saint Louis Art Museum, along with the board of commissioners president Barbara Taylor and director Brent Benjamin, welcomed more than 300 guests to the annual Beaux Arts Council dinner, Wednesday, October 22, 2015. In appreciation of their financial commitment to the Museum, members celebrated the 35th Anniversary of the Beaux Arts Council with a cocktail reception and formal seated dinner, co-chaired by Barbara Roberts and her daughter, Allison Roberts.

The Beaux Arts Council, a group of dedicated leaders, has chosen to make a personal investment in the mission of the Saint Louis Art Museum. Support from the members of this outstanding philanthropic group provide resources to preserve the Museum’s collection, sustain and expand education programs, and present diverse exhibitions.

The Saint Louis Art Museum has a mission to collect, present, interpret, and conserve works of art of the highest quality across time and cultures; educate, inspire discovery, and elevate the human spirit; and preserve a legacy of artistic achievement for the people of St. Louis and the world.
