Nurses for Newborns Foundation combined its annual golf tournament with Cornerstone Mortgage, Inc’s 10th Annual Charity Golf Benefit to make a potentially bigger and better event at Whitmoor Country Club, Monday, June 15, 2015. The 4-person scramble attracted participants for a tasty lunch, a day of golf, attendance prizes, silent auction, dinner, and the awarding of trophies. Golfers even had a chance to WIN a CAR!

Nurses for Newborns provides a safety net for families most at-risk in order to prevent infant mortality, child abuse and neglect by offering in-home nursing visits which promote healthcare, education, and positive parenting skills.

NFNF was founded in 1991. It became a 501(c)3 organization in 1992. It revolves around a nurse home-visiting agency with programs that serve teen moms, moms that are challenged mentally or physically, sick infants, and general population families that have a need.

Besides the medical component of its programs, NFNF assists families in connecting with any additional medical, social or government services they may require. It maintains a donation bank with clothes, toys, diapers, blankets, car seats, baby beds and formula for its families that have a need. The donations come from community baby showers, school groups, formula companies, churches and individuals.
