On evening of Thursday, June 26, 2014, NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri held its annual meeting at Cafe Napoli, Clayton. Members met to vote for new officers and hear from Rep. Jill Schupp, who give a legislative update on events in Jefferson City.

Many other state representatives attended to show their support, including the 71st’s Sue Meredith, the 72nd’s Mary Nichols, the 83rd’s Gina Mitten along with candidates Joe Adams and Deb Lavender.

NARAL Pro-Choice Missouri, the state’s largest grassroots pro-choice organization, has worked to protect choice for over 40 years. Its mission focuses on developing and sustaining a constituency that uses the political process to guarantee every woman the right to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive choices such as preventing unintended pregnancy, bearing healthy children, and choosing legal abortion.
