Mercy Health Foundation hosted its eleventh annual Benefit for the Kids Dinner/Auction at the Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, Friday, July 25, 2014. Summit Strategies Group again served as the title sponsor, presenting this evemt and the Kids Golf Tournament held on July 25th at the Whitmoor Country Club in Weldon Springs. The dinner auction culminated a week of activities that also included a carnival.

Co-chaired this year by Mercy Foundation board members Greg Twardowski and John Mozeliak. Rob Rubbelke served as chair of the golf tournament with honorary chair Chris Carpenter. Guests had the opportunity to bid of an array of items from jewelry, wines, exotic vacations, toys, local attractions, spa outings, sports memorabilia, and an in-home dinner party for eight prepared by Tony’s Chef Gerard Germain.

Over the past 10 years, the Benefit for Mercy Kids Golf Tournament and Dinner Auction have raised more than $4.3 million for kids in our community. On account of this event, Mercy has expanded its Child Life Department, built a state-of-the-art rooftop garden, added pediatric transport services and made the outpatient surgery center more child-friendly.

Mercy Health Foundation comprises a non-profit organization working to provide St. Louis residents with today’s most advanced health-care services. The foundation supports projects that provide advanced technology and capital needs for Mercy Hospital St. Louis and Mercy Children’s Hospital, as well as hospice services for the community.

Mercy’s compassionate healing environment and innovative system of care would not occur without the funds raised at Benefit for the Kids through local corporate support. By sponsoring Benefit for the Kids, you help provide hope and healing to our smallest patients.
