The Ladue Garden Club hosted a preview and wine pull soiree for Le Marche’ d’ Automne, Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at the Deer Creek Club. Members and guests relaxed over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, taking advantage of the best selections and some early holiday shopping before the market officially opened to the public, Wednesday, October 15 and Thursday, October 16. The minimum cost to attend amounted to $60 per person with several patron categories available. All levels of giving included admission to Le Marche’ d’Automne, and public recognition of the donor’s generosity.

This year, Ladue Garden Club added something different to the evening. The Club offered guests a wine pull for $25. Guests purchased a numbered cork and upon leaving, discovered what their donation secured.

The Marche’, Ladue Garden Club’s largest biennial fundraiser, attracts both local and national vendors to the three day affair. Guests could find everything from dresses, handbags, accessories, and jewelry to men’s belts, ties, and tuxedo shirts with a Twist. Vendors included Ann Fink’s Painted Things, Barbara Arnett Cashmere, Bird Dog Bay, Claudia Triana Designs, de Aguero Ceramic Designs, Designing Block, Gina Graphics, Girl with Pearl, Indo-Chic, It Works, Katherine Jessica Collections, Nerium Facial Products, Painted by Design, Page Jackson Designs, Pearly Vine, QBS Designs, Rose & Harper, Sissy Pie Originals, The St. Louis Herb Society, Song of the Flower, Tennessee Pewter, and ThRedHeads.

A percentage of all sales benefits the Ladue Garden Club to support educational, conservation, and community programs and projects in the Saint Louis Community.
