Jammin’ At The Zoo

Jammin’ at the Zoo, presented by Macy’s, was another successful Young Zoo Friends event Wednesday, July 27th on a beautiful night at the ZOO.  Guests 21 and up experienced cabernets for conservation-free samples from more than 10 wineries, featuring 85 different wines, and beers from St. Louis microbreweries throughout the Zoo from 6-8pm. Guests enjoyed great live music by McLovin and FatPocket and watched Juggling Josh and his roaming unicyclists. Also from 6 to 8 p.m. guests could get close-and-personal with stingrays and sharks at Stingrays at Caribbean Cove presented by Mercy Kids, and ride on the Mary Ann Lee Conservation Carousel.

On August 24 Jammin at the Zoo returns with music by My Friend Mike, Dirty Muggs, Juggling Josh and the roaming unicyclists. Wine and Beer Sampling from 6 to 8 p.m., while supplies last. Sample wines from  Bars and Food Wine by the glass and bottle, beer, soda and frozen specialty drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Food will also be available to purchase during the event. No outside alcoholic beverages will be permitted at the event. Visitors are welcome to bring their own picnic supper or baskets. 21-and-up only. Also from 6 to 8 p.m., get up-close-and-personal with stingrays and sharks at Stingrays at Caribbean Cove presented by Mercy Kids, and take a spin on the Mary Ann Lee Conservation Carousel. Admission Includes wine and beer tasting from 6 to 8 p.m. (while supplies last), live entertainment and opportunity to purchase wine, beer and food. Zoo Members*: $10. See below regarding parking.
