It was a soggy start to Humane Society of Missouri’s Bark in the Park 2015 held on Saturday, May 16, 2015.  The heavy rains held off and only sprinkled momentarily a few times to reward all of the people and pups who came out to help the Humane Society of Missouri raise over $67,000.

This year’s iteration brought back a lot of the favorites including the Pancake breakfast and 5K race throughout Forest Park at 8 AM. The Pro Plan Performance Team exhibition showed off the amazing skills of the expertly trained dogs and the agility course let attendees take their own dogs through a challenging regimen.

This year’s 1-mile Walk for Animals was led this year by Fox2’s Lisa Hart along with Humane Society President Kathy Warnick.Pet contests with Y98’s Jen Myers gave owners a chance to find out if their pet had the “ugliest mug”, “shortest legs”, or was the “sloppiest kisser.”
