In the spirit of the season, Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis expressed its gratitude by inviting all supporters, customers, and friends to a holiday open house at the Restore Des Peres, Thursday, December 4, 2014, 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM. Everyone attending toasted a successful year of building homes and hope in St. Louis City and County.
Guest enjoyed some holiday cheer, courtesy of Russo’s Catering, good company, and, of course, seasonal shopping with Restore’s extended hours. All revenue raised benefited Habitat by reusing and re-purposing donated goods and diverting items from landfills to lessen the impact on the environment.
The Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis Restore has a three-fold mission:
- Provide additional financial support for the Saint Louis affiliate of Habitat for Humanity;
- Offer a lower-cost alternative to a traditional hardware store;
- Facilitate reuse and waste reduction by diverting construction and household materials from landfills.
