GROW- Special VIP Grand Opening at SLSC
On Tuesday, June 14th the St. Louis Science Center opened it’s first new permanent exhibit in more than 30 years. The VIP party guests were treated to Hors D’oeuvres, drinks specialty drinks and deserts by Prairie Farms, guest speakers and hands on exploration of the 1 acre exhibit. GROW focuses on the science behind the journey of food, from farm to fork with emphasis on Missouri and Illinois farming and is the largest exhibit of it’s kind in the U.S.
The Saint Louis Science Center has more than 700 hands-on exhibits that span the broad spectrum of science. There is something fun for everyone! In the Science Center you can watch staff test the laws of physics in live Amazing Science Demonstrations; sneak past a life-sized animatronic Tyrannosaurus rex and Triceratops; explore the night sky uninterrupted by weather, pollution, or city lights; build a replica of the Gateway Arch and much, much more!
