Gateway Pet Guardians’ Soiree for Strays

Gateway Pet Guardians hosted its annual gala, art show and auction at The Luminary on Cherokee Street, Friday, November 13, 2015

The Soiree for Strays Charity Gala and Art Show celebrated the loving bond between animals and humans, while raising awareness about animal welfare issues. The gala also gave attendees an intimate look into the lives of those who have lived on the streets and survived against all odds. The many local artists involved told stories of love and tales of hope through their eyes and the animals’.  

Gateway Pet Guardians comprises a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal shelter whose passionate and dedicated staff and volunteers care for animals on the streets of East St. Louis, Illinois and surrounding areas. Its mission focuses on ending homelessness for animals in the Metro East through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and community education.
