Friends of Kids with Cancer 21st Annual Fashion Show and Boutique
This year marked the 21st Anniversary of the Kids With Cancer’s Fashion Show and Boutique, held at the Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, Thursday, November 7th, 2013. The Boutique welcomed guests with more than 25 vendors who displayed and sold elegant designer jewelry, clothing, decor and gifts of the season.
After cocktails and shopping, freinds and supporters sat down to a sumptuous dinner and a fashion show where the star models represented cancer surviors. Always filled with fun, laughter, and a few tears, this signature event places the children, not the fashion, on the main stage. The highlight came with a celebratory dance to recognize the 21st Anniversary of the production.
Kelly Buchanan, Lisa Nixon, and Cindy Timpone co-chaired the evening. Sarah Dayley, KSDK reporter and anchor, served as the fashion show emcee, and Guy Phillips, Y-98 morning host, served as the master of ceremonies and auctioneer, keeping everything moving with his wit and humor. Net proceeds from the Annual Fashion Show and Boutique will benefit Friends of Kids With Cancer’s programs and services.
