Friends of CHARACTERplus’ 9th Annual Fall Social
Characterplus held its 9th Annual Fall Social, Friday, November 22, 2013. at the Racquet Club. The party honored Debra Hollingsworth with the Sandy McDonnell Dedication to Character Award. Joan Ball served as event chair, assisted by vice chair Suzanne Bright.The evening featured cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction items, and comradery.
Founded in 1988, CHARACTERPlus works to develop postiive character traits in young people by providing a high quality character education process and resources to schools, homes and communities.
The Friends of CHARACTERPlus was started in 2005 to bring together supportive coumminity members who believe in the importance of character education. Their mission is supporting CHARACTERPlus and helping increase public awareness of the character education services they provide to schools in the community.
