Food Outreach’s A Tasteful Affair
Coined “A Tasteful Affair”, guests enjoyed signature tastings from 50 of their favorite restaurants and caterers at Food Outreach’s 26th annual food and auction extravaganza, Sunday, April 6, 2014, at the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis. They also could peruse and bid on an array of unique silent auction items including tickets to luxury events, travel experiences, gift certificates and more.
An award went to the favorite restaurant and caterer plus the winner of a raffle ticket drawing. The live auction followed, and all proceeds benefited Food Outreach in it’s mission to provide vital nutritional support to low income men, women and children battling cancer or HIV/AIDS in the St. Louis area.
In 2013 the need for Food Outreach Services reached its highest level in history – 2,000+ individuals ages 6-91 in 174 Missouri and Illinois zip codes received 508,681 nutritious meals and nutrition counseling.
