Five Acres Animal Shelter’s Spay-ghetti Dinner and Auction

On Friday, February 13, 2015, Five Acres Animal Shelter held it’s 10th annual Spay-ghetti Dinner and Auction at the Stegton Regency Banquet and Conference Center in St. Charles MO.  A long sold-out event, this year saw over 400+ people attend to benefit spaying and neutering our four-legged friends.

Those who attended were treated to spaghetti and meatballs from the Pasta House Co., Erio’s Ristorante, Le Cordon Bleu, Saullo’s, Texas Road House and sweets provided by Grandma’s Cookies.

In the crowd were Andi (a hearing-impaired dog) and Blizzard (a handsome young cat) and a litter of celebrity kittens (including Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Channing Tatum, T.J. Oshie, and Ozzie Smith) to say hello to everyone and remind all who attended who directly benefits from this event.

Silent auction items included movie tickets and a full size movie poster, date night packages with dinner and dessert, pampering kits, jewelry, a popcorn maker, autographed items, a beer making kit, a Corona cooler, a private sightseeing flight over St. Louis and many over 35 other wonderful prizes.

All proceeds from this event benefit Five Acres’ spay and neuter fund. Their mission is to end pet homelessness, promote responsible pet ownership, and advocate for animal welfare.
