Chaminade College Preparatory School’s Class of 1975 held its 40 Reunion at the historic Busch Family Estate, Grant’s Farm, on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Well over 100 members of the class returned to enjoy an evening of comradery, humor, and  nostalgia..

Peter Busch, an alumnus from the class, graciously hosted the reunion at his family’s mansion. Many of the guests fondly recalled parties there from their youth, where several attendees ended up in the pool. While we closely monitored the pool area, nothing dramatic happened. However, the group did share many stories and recollections of teachers, incidents, and naturally old photos, thanks to some ’70’s yearbooks. A few faculty members also attended to lend credibility and recall to the tales.

During the reception, guests had photo opportunities with several Grant’s Farm animals, including a Burmese Albino Python, Chinchilla, a Macaw,a Harris Hawk, a Red Tail Hawk, and of course, the majestic Clydesdale. A brief program after dinner enabled the guests to applaud the golfing exploits of some alumni, recognize the event organizers (Mark Brennan, Bart Castelli, and Fritz Clifford), and acknowledge Peter Busch, who heard a unanimous round of cheers to host the 50th celebration. More on that possibility later.
