On a beautiful moonlit night, Friday June 17th, The St Louis Zoo celebrated it’s biennial ZOO ADO with Arctic Light, Summer Night! Guests arrived in colorful attire to chill out and with delicious food, drinks and view the new McDonnell Polar Bear Point with Kali the Polar Bear! Kali appeared to enjoy giving people a close up view of her swimming skills. National Cover band “Party on the Moon” performed on the main stage and other musical acts were found throughout the park. There were food and beverage stands set up throughout the zoo grounds, and of course the seals were in top swimming form for those who wandered through the underground tunnel. As usual a silent auction in the Lakeside Cafe was open most of the night.

Proceeds from this biennial fundraiser help the, still free, world-class St. Louis Zoo in its efforts to save endangered species at home and around the world.
