On the evening of April 30, 2016, Microfinancing Partners in Africa recently held its annual African Gala at Sunset Country Club, when over 250 guests came together to raise funds toward empowering those living in extreme poverty in Africa.

Guests were invited to enjoy a delightful evening featuring silent and oral auctions, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a fabulous dinner and a special celebration of MPA’s 10 year anniversary.

Founder and president, Sr. Toni Temporiti, event chair Susanne Pelikan, and board chair Carla Valenti welcomed guest speaker Bishop John Baptist Kaggwa founder of the cow project in Uganda.

By providing grants for the strengthening and expansion of microfinancing programs in Africa, MPA empowers those living in extreme poverty to lift themselves up with dignity through access to services and education.
