Current and former members of the Ad Club STL gathered at the Kingside Diner in the Central West End to pay tribute to Terry Baer at their Annual Reunion and Scholarship presentation.
Ad Club President Jake Edinger and Executive Director Sierra Thompson mingled with the members at the event. Lamplighter members Robert Vogel and John Grizzell presented a plaque to Mimi Baer in honor of her late husband Terry Baer for his many years of service and contributions to the Club. The Annual Ad Club Scholarship was renamed to the Terry Baer Scholarship in his memory.
Miranda Cowan; junior at the University of Missouri – Columbia, Mackenzie Mock; senior at the University of Missouri – Columbia, and Myra Nelson; senior at Webster Univerirty were each presented with a $1,000 Scholarship.
The evening included networking and visiting with other professionals from the St. Louis Advertising Community. Proceeds benefit Ad Club STL and the Terry Bear Scholarship Fund.
“The mission of the Advertising Club of Saint Louis is to raise the awareness of St. Louis advertising, educate and inspire, foster a community, and to celebrate our profession.”
