More than 500 guests gathered at Busch Stadium on Saturday, September 21 to enjoy  the 16th Annual Benefit for Mercy Kids. St. Louis Blues Captain Alex Pietrangelo and Mercy Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer patient Elizabeth Hill served as Honorary Co-Chairs. Guests were treated to drinks and hors D’eourves  on the infield playing track with tours of the Cardinal’s clubhouse and a chance to pitch baseballs in the bull pen. Later in the Red Birds Club guests were served a delicious dinner followed a live auction and Fund-A-Need Campaign.

The event raised over $2.5 Million Dollars for Mercy. An anonymous donor matched all gifts to Fund-A-Need times four thus ensuring the completion of a two-year fundraising campaign by Mercy Health Foundation to raise a total of $3.5 million to create a unique healing environment for Mercy’s AYA patients and their families. The presenting sponsor was World Wide Technology.
