The 3rd Annual Winter 12 Bars of St. Louis 2014

In the past two years, 12 of Clayton, Missouri’s Most Prominent Bars/Restaurants have come together on four separate occasions to create the “12 Bars of Clayton.” The program represents a city-wide pub crawl that raises awareness and money for local charity organizations. The program attracted over 6,000 attendees and raised over $50,000 in the two years.

On account of the event’s growth, the organizers decided to take it to downtown St. Louis, an extremely successful move. Attendees registered online, selecting their favorite charity, and checked in at Ballpark Village’s Fox Sports Midwest Live!. There, they picked up their official ’12 Bars of Charity’ Team Sweatshirt. Guests could choose from  8 charities, and each had its own team color. So the sweatshirts would identify which charity the participant was supporting.

The tickets also included 1/2 price drink specials as well as a shuttle pass, and $10 of the ticket went directly to each participant’s selected charity. This year R&B productions donated $1,000 to the winning charity, St. Judes Dudes, which raised $5,730. Stray Rescue came in a close second with $5,360. All together this year’s pub crawl generated a whopping total of $28,200.The 8 charities and 12 participating bars are listed below:
